Gettin' High

No, not that kind of "high" from drugs. But just the natural high, for high waisted dresses, shorts & skirts. As said on http://www.glamourvanity.com/: "High-waited skirts, pants, shorts dominate this season. Simple lines help create a very feminine silhouette, and another good thing is that high-waited clothes stress your waist line making it more alluring." I love my high waisted shorts (one in the navy shown below + my gray ones [not shown below])

So go, get high too! ;]

Not Anymore.

Above all, he made me realize even more: never give someone your all, especially when that someone doesn't know what they want.* Being with him was a battle--fighting every step of the way just to make things work 'cause I believed in us so much. But, I can honestly say that I gave him the best, and that can't compare to what I gave the rest. Though, he made me mad, angry, sad, confused, and neglected, I never let those feelings overshadow the fact that he made me happy, and same goes with the bad times-I never let it overshadow our good. I knew that I wasn't fully happy (at a certain point) and that he wasn't either, but I refused to acknowledge that. Stupid me, I went on thinking we were 'good', trying everything I could to rekindle what was missing. Once you have already done enough, stop. Lesson learned. So, this is it, finally time to let go of the rope.

Goodbye, dbid.

(est. 05-09-08) But truth be told, I am fine, really.

Eleven.

Perfect timing, our 11month anniversary is on a Thursday, which is one of our hang out days. The usual: Kam shopping's McDonald, sharing a chicken nugget happy meal together. We did not plan to wear red, btw. "Great minds think alike." Two more weeks, 'till a year of knowing each other. These months went by pretty fast.

Ouch.

I wore the loafers (1930's slip ons) that I bought while thrift shopping a couple of days ago, to school today. I wore it out once, and like wearing any other flats, the toes gets squishy in it. It didn't give me blisters though, like I had hoped. BUT today, my toes weren't lucky. By the time school was done, I had a record of blisters. (One popped on its own.) Thank God, Jackie let me wore her slippers while I had to walk to the library, even if it was 2 1/2 sizes too big, it helped my toes to breath for awhile.

Babe says that it's all "about the comfort." Adding that, I shouldn't have used it. But I couldn't just let it go to waste. I say it was a fashion sacrifice. ;]
